Giano was born from a desire to reinterpret a simple gesture of Italian cuisine: grating something delicious over our favourite dishes.
Made with organic cashews, soy protein and white miso, Giano is slowly matured to develop an intense, savoury flavour and a firm texture that breaks into delicious flakes.
Its name is inspired by Janus, the Roman god of transitions and new beginnings. Just like him, Giano looks in two directions: towards the age-old traditions of fermentation and ageing, and towards a new, entirely plant-based way of bringing flavour and character to the everyday Italian table.
