Fun Fact About Mushrooms: Mushrooms have been used in cooking for centuries across many cultures, including Italian cuisine. In Italy, shiitake mushrooms are often used in savory dishes like pasta sauces, risottos, and soups. Mushrooms not only provide a rich umami flavor, but they also pack plenty of nutrients, including vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants—making them the perfect addition to plant-based dishes!
